影片涉及到异国恋情，剧组在荷兰鹿特丹等地取景一周，展现了优美的异国风光。 刚开始单看海报和片名，给我的第一感觉，就觉得这是部典型文艺范的爱情片，走的依旧是很俗套很寻常很纠结很曲折的爱情路线，看完后虽说万变不离其宗，但从影片的构思上还是有让人耳目一新的地方。将几段看似互不相干模式上却又显得极为相似的爱情片段拼接在一起，从而造就了这部内容异常新颖而丰富的电影，围绕着爱情进行了一次写实而独到的剖析。

全片由四个类似爱情小品的片段连接而成，第一个是跨国间的实际距离，第二个是无法满足的生理距离，第三个是难以缩短的心距，第四个则酷似个小总结，对于爱情，有些人还在当局者迷时，有些人也许早已旁观者清。如此看来爱情最大的宿敌莫过于“距离”两字，即成了恋人间难以逾越的障碍。很多人常说“距离产生美”，但就爱情而言，“距离却产生别”，离别的导火索。

打电话打到韩国寻找爱人，他四处奔波，一往情深终究战胜了本热切想要定居的心；从异性的身上得到了在同性身上无法满足的生理需求，即使心里对同性仍存有留恋与不舍，但激情四射的性交终究还是战胜了以精神为主的恋交；纠缠不放，因为被爱情伤得太深，移情别恋的前男友，蠢蠢欲动的现男友，让她患上了“恋爱恐惧症”，即使做爱，心已不在自己身上，早已没了挽回的余地。再靠近一点，有时会存有希望，有时则会磨灭希望，或许这就是爱情的一种魔力。
